Seafarm has grown to become one of the most popular fish restaurants in Zeeland within one season. We are proud of our number 1 position on Tripadvisor. In recent years the restaurant has been a tasting room linked to our turbot farm and shellfish wholesaler. The iconic location at the bottom of the storm surge barrier ensures that guests on our terrace can almost touch the Oosterschelde water. Good for an instant holiday feeling. Luxurious fruits de mer trays and perfectly prepared turbot are our signature dishes. To expand our team, we are looking for an experienced Service Operator.

I am Juul Meusen, I am 19 years old and I come from Haelen (Limburg). I study applied biology at the HAS college in Venlo. Part of my studies is a 20-week research internship.

Because I am very interested in aquaculture, especially fish farming, I started looking for an internship that suited this. After some searching and asking around, I ended up at Seafarm. It soon became clear that Seafarm is different from other companies and companies. Their way of thinking, approaching problems and their vision is not aimed at making as much profit as possible. Seafarm has set the goal of doing this in such a sustainable and innovative way, they do not wait for others to come up with solutions but look for the solution themselves. By constantly looking for improvements, they are at the forefront of the sector.

My name is Tom Roelofzen and I am 18 years old. I currently live in Hierden (near Harderwijk). Since my childhood I have been interested in aquaculture and in particular the breeding of fish. This interest was still there when completing the HAVO. That is why I opted for the Animal and Animal Husbandry course at the High Agricultural School (HAS). After this course I want to follow the Master course Aquaculture and Fisheries in Wageningen.
